I've had a lot of things to adjust to over the past two years or so... getting married, moving to Southern California, selling Petra's Tech Shop to Sidewinder Computers, shutting down the R&D arm of my business (Petra'sTech), my parents moving from Northern California to Idaho, the death of my Grandmother, being unemployed, selling my M Roadster, buying a house... As a result, it's understandable that I've been feeling a bit lost--there are parts of me that want PT/PTS back, there are parts that don't want the company back but still want to continue in the PC enthusiast industry somehow, and there are other parts that just want to bury the past and move on to something completely different (admittedly, this is the more unsettling line of internal dialogue).
With that said, I teased you guys with images of my DDCT-02 pump top design when I created the Open Cooling Initiative page about a year ago and not much has happened with it since then. I've come to the realization that there's little point in me continuing to withhold the design as it's unlikely that I'm going to venture back into manufacturing cooling parts. It's time for me to let go.
You can click the Open Cooling Initiative link at the top of this page to download the SolidWorks 2006 part file.
Update: At the request of a member of XtremeSystems, a .STEP version of the DDCT-02 has been added to the OCI page.
